About

Viable Faith’s main purpose is to push and grow individuals faith within the tension that exists between faith and reason.

Viable has a variety of meanings but there are two which are the main focus and intent of this site:

Logical and pragmatic.

There are a handful of subsets and adjectives that spread out from this understanding such as rational, testable, feasible and capable of working successfully.

Faith is then typically defines as:

complete trust or confidence in someone or something.

With religion, this complete trust of confidence is God.

This is where the tension lies.

we are to have a viable, that is rational and logical faith, which is the complete and total confidence in God.

we cannot empirically and physically prove the existence of God nor can we prove our faith.

but the tensions exist.

Our faith exists yet we cannot prove it.

we can claim our faith exists and we try to show others our faith is viable, that is it is true, by how we live.

The viability of our faith is demonstrated in the outworking of our lives and actions. That which is unseen is made visible by our lives.
